About the role

Infrastructure Reliability Engineering (IRE) seeks a System Development Engineer II to build scalable software and automation for device authentication and connectivity across Amazon's Fulfillment network, delivering highly available distributed services and solutions that scale to hundreds of thousands of clients.

Responsibilities

  • - Design and implement scalable software solutions for device authentication and connectivity
  • - Collaborate with team members to build and maintain distributed services
  • - Develop automation to support the growing number of devices in Amazon's Fulfillment network
  • - Optimize existing systems for performance and reliability
  • - Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
  • - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • - Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and apply them to solve business challenges

Qualifications

  • - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • “- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
  • - 3+ years of systems engineering experience
  • - Experience in driving process and tool improvements
  • - Experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges
