About the role

Senior TAM role within AWS Enterprise Support responsible for being the principal technical advisor to customers, driving adoption of AWS services, and maintaining operational health of customer environments. Travel 10%+ as needed. Vancouver, CAN.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using AWS best practices
  • Represent AWS within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support and risk management
  • Craft and execute strategies to drive customers’ adoption and use of AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IoT, etc.)
  • Build and maintain close relationships with customers to understand business/operational needs and technical challenges
  • Proactively keep customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy
  • Travel as needed (10% or more)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
  • 5+ years of technical engineering experience
