About the role

SDE II role on Amazon Leo Commerce team in India, building and maintaining critical commerce systems for Amazon Leo's global operations and expanding presence in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Design components and subsystems with consideration for scalability, reliability, and operational excellence
  • Design and implement globally available distributed cloud architectures.
  • Work across team boundaries to integrate systems and resolve dependencies
  • Collaborate with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to ensure the best experience for our customers.
  • A day in the life: design, build, and maintain components and services of Amazon Leo's Commerce Systems and interact with core e-commerce and Amazon Leo network teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
