About the role

AWS Infrastructure Operations role focused on managing and improving site security operations in AWS data centers, including security policy deployment, post orders, incident handling, and security technology testing.

Responsibilities

  • Managing physical security operations, developing post orders, defining security procedures, handling site incidents, working with security equipment, participating in construction projects and driving day-to-day process improvements and vendor management.

Qualifications

  • Experience with access control and CCTV systems
  • 6+ months' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment
  • Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus
  • 2+ years of law enforcement, or 8+ years of security-related professional experience
  • 1+ years of team leadership experience
  • College Degree (Bachelors) or Background in Military, Law Enforcement with Arrest Authority, TSA Security Screening, or Correctional Facility Officer
