About the role

Talent Partner to own end-to-end technical recruiting for engineering, research, and security roles at AIUC, collaborating with engineering leads and founders to define role profiles, source passive candidates, and close hires. First 90 days focus on active engineering searches and building a live pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and research roles, from intake and calibration through sourcing, screening, offer, and close
  • Partner with hiring managers to turn vague briefs into clear profiles and target lists
  • Build talent maps and sourcing plays for hard-to-find profiles in AI evals, security, and forward deployed engineering
  • Screen for what you can judge, and hand our technical interviewers candidates worth their time
  • Run offer conversations, including equity, for candidates with strong options elsewhere
  • Own the agency relationships for your searches
  • Track your funnel and tell us what's working and what isn't
  • Help make AIUC a place engineers want to work, through events and our team's networks

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of full-cycle technical recruiting in high-growth tech, ideally at an early-stage AI or infrastructure company
  • You can explain what separates a great engineer from a good one, and engineering leaders trust your read
  • Concrete, creative sourcing for passive candidates
  • You've closed candidates with competing offers from top AI companies
  • You use data to run your searches, and you're comfortable pushing back when it tells you something the team doesn't want to hear
