About the role

Technical Executive Communications Manager at Xometry in Waltham, MA responsible for building and elevating internal and external narratives for technical leadership, with an 80/20 split focusing on the CTO and CXO/leadership storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the CTO's narrative strategy, positioning them as a prominent thought leader in software architecture, AI/ML, engineering culture, and product innovation.
  • Draft external content including keynote presentations, technical blog posts, op-eds, podcast talking points, social media posts, and media briefing materials.
  • Support CTO speaking events, keynotes, panel discussions and media ops as appropriate
  • Draft product news-based press releases and media announcements in close partnership with corporate communications.
  • Develop internal communications to align engineering, product, and cross-functional teams around technical roadmaps, architectural shifts, and product vision.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, communications, and engineering teams to translate complex product capabilities into customer-centric storytelling.
  • Support the preparation of select keynote decks and external product & technical-based commentary.
  • Work closely with the VP of Communications to ensure all executive narratives align with the overarching communications strategy.
  • Establish a clear tone of voice for executives that feels authentic, authoritative, and engaging.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–8+ years in technical executive communications, corporate communications, PR, or technical content strategy within the B2B tech industry.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record in a Product-Led Growth (PLG) technology company, with understanding of product usage, developer ecosystem dynamics, and SaaS metrics.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to interview technical stakeholders and translate dense product/technical concepts into accessible content.
  • Writing & Visual Storytelling: Ghostwriting, editing, and speechwriting skills; ability to guide creative resources and use digital/AI tools to execute independently.
  • AI & Digital Tool Native: Comfort with incorporating digital and AI tools into daily workflows.
  • Executive Presence: High emotional intelligence and confidence working with C-level executives.
