About the role

Freelance, remote voice recording contributor role for Arabic (Jordan) to support an AI language and speech project. Task-based, ~4–6 hours/day, approximately 1 month, immediate start, rate $6/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Read provided text cards aloud and record them exactly as written (approximately 640 cards per person).
  • Produce clear, natural, and high-quality speech recordings following guidelines.
  • Speak using your natural dialect and accent.
  • Ensure no words are added, omitted, or altered.
  • Re-record submissions if requested to meet quality standards.
  • Complete tasks using our internal recording platform.

Qualifications

  • Native-level fluency in Arabic (Jordan).
  • Authentic pronunciation and familiarity with target dialect or accent.
  • Advanced English to understand written instructions.
  • Ability to complete a trial voice recording to verify language variant and accent.
  • Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own.
  • Experience with speech recording projects is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain recording accuracy.
