About the role

Temporary/contract remote role to collect high-quality Spanish (Puerto Rico) voice recordings for AI speech and language projects. Flexible, task-based schedule for approximately 4–6 hours/day over ~1 month, starting immediately, at $18/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Read provided text cards aloud and record them exactly as written (approximately 640 cards per person).
  • Produce clear, natural, and high-quality speech recordings following guidelines.
  • Speak using your natural dialect and accent.
  • Ensure no words are added, omitted, or altered.
  • Re-record submissions if requested to meet quality standards.
  • Complete tasks using our internal recording platform.

Qualifications

  • Native-level fluency in Spanish (Puerto Rico).
  • Authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the target dialect or accent via everyday use.
  • Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
  • Ability to complete a trial voice recording to verify language variant and accent.
  • Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own.
  • Experience with speech recording projects is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain recording accuracy.
