About the role

Design visually compelling experiences across web, digital, and print to bring Databento's brand to life. Own projects from concept through production and collaborate with growth and product design teams to translate technical concepts into clear visuals.

Responsibilities

  • Design responsive pages for Databento's marketing website with focus on usability, visual hierarchy, and conversion.
  • Develop creative concepts and visual assets for product launches, campaigns, blog posts, and social media.
  • Create event signage, promotional materials, and other digital and print collateral.
  • Turn complex financial and technical concepts into illustrations, diagrams, and infographics.
  • Extend Databento's visual identity across channels, developing reusable templates and exploring new creative directions.
  • Own design projects from initial brief to final delivery, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft in typography, layout, composition, color, and hierarchy.
  • Typically 3+ years of experience in visual, marketing, or brand design (portfolio-weighted).
  • Experience designing responsive web pages for desktop and mobile.
  • Understanding of web UX principles.
  • Experience designing across digital and print formats.
  • Experience with extending and evolving design systems.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, communicate design decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
