About the role

Senior leader responsible for Strategy and Operations for Stepful College degree programs (Nursing, Imaging, Respiratory). Owns operating model, budget, org design, and cross-functional collaboration to scale degree programs while maintaining quality, student satisfaction, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve Stepful College’s operating model (Nursing, Imaging, Respiratory) with Ops Directors and Clinical/Academic Leaders.
  • Set strategy to deliver degree programs at high quality at scale and design operating cadence for independent school leadership within the portfolio.
  • Own the department budget and resource allocation across schools and geographies.
  • Design department organization as it grows, including leadership layers and senior hires.
  • Lead Operations and Clinical Leaders end-to-end, coaching for performance and accountability across all levels.
  • Partner with Learning, Product, Legal, Growth, and Workforce Solutions to grow enrollment, deliver student experience, and meet employer-partner needs.
  • Push AI adoption across schools.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience, including 5+ years leading multi-layered organizations in operations or program leadership
  • Track record of owning a department or business unit (strategy, budget, org design) and scaling through significant growth
  • Experience leading regulated, licensure-track education programs (e.g., nursing or allied health) with state boards and accreditors
  • Ability to drive workflows across multiple domains and build operating systems enabling autonomy of leaders
  • Executive communication skills for aligning executives, regulators, faculty, and employer partners
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; willingness to dive into details when needed
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and experimenting with it to improve team work
