About the role

Executive Assistant to the CEO supporting a high-growth fintech startup. Responsible for the CEO’s calendar, travel, briefing materials, and ensuring priorities and context are maintained across meetings in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and proactively manage the CEO’s calendar — sequencing and grouping meetings so related context stays together and he’s not constantly switching gears between unrelated conversations
  • Regularly act as first point of contact, exercising judgment on what is a priority versus what should be delegated, deferred, or declined
  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, often on short notice
  • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and follow-ups for board meetings, investor, and leadership meetings
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Anticipate needs before they’re asked and resolve problems independently

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO or Founder at a high-growth startup or similarly high-pace environment
  • Extreme attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands in real time
  • Sound judgment and discretion handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable with a high-intensity pace and last-minute changes
  • Availability that tracks the CEO’s own schedule — not fixed 9-to-5, and reachability outside standard hours
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to Miami
