About the role

Distribution Center General Associate role at ARC'teryx focusing on receiving, shipping, returns and value-added services in the Arc’One Distribution Centre. Requires attention to detail, safety assurance, and efficient handling of goods within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving finished goods according to vendor purchase order and accurately record information electronically
  • Visually checking product to ensure proper working condition and that it is not damaged; place incoming items in inventory
  • Replenishing stock, organizing picking bin locations and racking levels by set requirements
  • Picking products accurately from picking bins by following orders from processor
  • Packing and weighing orders; loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment
  • Helping prepare shipping and other related documents
  • Ensuring proper daily storage and maintenance of equipment
  • Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met and taking responsibility for stock security, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
  • Assisting in maintaining 5S practices
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Excel and ERP systems
  • High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and flexibility
  • Ability to work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision and to work effectively as a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and professionalism
  • Proactive in identifying root causes of issues and developing solutions
  • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Commitment to finding the best solutions with integrity
  • CSA approved steel toe footwear
