About the role

FireMon delivers Network Security Policy Control for the Modern Enterprise. As a Solutions Architect, you'll assess business opportunities and support strategies to address technical challenges within the FireMon Customer Experience team, working with security architects, infrastructure specialists, and engineering teams to design effective, results-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to process improvement and implementation methodology focused on prescriptively and proactively delivering value to customers.
  • Provide thought leadership related to API integration for Automation and Workflow management.
  • Be an expert in the implementation of proposed solutions and account for the decisions you propose.
  • Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align technology solutions with business initiatives.
  • Partner with users to define and analyze problems and align the most appropriate technical, application or configuration solutions.
  • Help develop, document, and manage the requirements gathering process and provide detailed design and business processes to support requirements throughout the project lifecycle up to change control.
  • Review system test plans and applications to ensure successful test cycles.
  • Partner with end-users to create scenarios to test implemented solutions and verify they meet requirements.
  • Serve as a functional and technical resource for the project team and establish LOE and duration estimates for projects.
  • Build architecture best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Five or more years of business analysis and consulting experience related to enterprise software implementation and change management.
  • Five or more years of experience designing and implementing client-facing solutions.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
