About the role

Role focused on building trust with business customers, creating and managing a sales pipeline, and turning interested businesses into long-term partners in New Zealand's energy market.

Responsibilities

  • Roll up your sleeves to seek out and win new business opportunities, keep a healthy sales pipeline moving, and smash monthly and annual targets across new connections (ICPs) and electricity volume.
  • Get to know each business's energy world inside out, build clear solutions that make complete commercial sense, and turn early interest into long-term partnerships through great, transparent conversations.
  • Forge genuine, long-term partnerships with customers and industry partners from day one, delivering an outrageously good sales and onboarding experience that keeps them growing with us.
  • Take full ownership of your pipeline and records in Kraken to keep things running like clockwork, team up with internal squads for smooth onboarding, and stay super curious as our green products, smart tariffs, and the energy market evolve.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of spotting exciting opportunities, keeping a healthy pipeline moving, and turning great conversations into signed business.
  • You love reaching out, sparking fresh relationships, and creating your own momentum from day one.
  • Enjoy having goals to chase, hold yourself accountable for your results, and believe steady, focused effort creates success.
  • Ability to listen to what a business actually needs, explain value and pricing without fluff, handle questions, and ask for the deal.
  • Warm, credible, and down to earth; comfortable with both independent business owners and senior commercial leaders.
  • Tidy and up-to-date pipeline and records.

  • Base Salary: $64,000 + Commission (OTE $80,000)
