Responsibilities

  • Source candidates across a wide range of roles to build top-of-funnel - from engineering to sales, marketing, design, product, and operations.
  • Use tools like Noon, Juicebox, etc. and other creative channels to identify strong talent.
  • Build thoughtful and personalized candidate searches and outreach approaches that represent our brand and mission, focusing on quality vs quantity.
  • Partner with the Head of Talent to calibrate profiles, align on pipelines, and iterate based on feedback.
  • Move quickly, stay organized, and adapt as priorities shift.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally:
  • - Trained at an agency or search firm, and
  • - Have since spent some time in-house at a startup.
  • Experience sourcing both technical and non-technical roles.
  • Extreme bias towards action, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable working in gray areas with limited structure.
  • Familiarity with Ashby.

Our AI-powered operator instantly routes, triages, and resolves calls so citizens get exactly what they need and 911 dispatchers get to focus on emergencies. Upwards of 80% of total call volume faced by public safety agencies are administrative calls e.g., citizens trying to pay parking tickets or reporting a power outage. Aurelian lessens this burden and lets 9-1-1 dispatchers deal with actual emergencies. To date, Aurelian has automated hundreds of thousands of calls and sent over 10,000 emergent calls (that typically would've sat on hold) to the 911 line to be handled immediately.
