About the role

Data Analyst role focused on transforming healthcare operations data into actionable insights to improve efficiency across patient journey and advocate workflows. Partner with Operations to optimize performance, build scalable analytics, and guide resource allocation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Operational Excellence: surface bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the patient journey (intake, match, active care) and advocate workflows to turn data into operational improvements.
  • Model Capacity & Throughput: analyze advocate utilization, caseloads, and supply/demand balance to help staff ahead of growth.
  • Build Scalable Analytics: design, build, and maintain dashboards in Hex to automate reporting and enable self-serve access for Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Curate the Data Layer: partner with engineering to keep data models clean and refine SQL and dbt transformations for scalable infrastructure.
  • Synthesize & Communicate: translate technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences and explain actionable implications for leadership.
  • Wrangle Complex Data: work with structured and semi-structured data (nested JSON, healthcare operational data) to extract signal from noise.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, including healthcare operations where data informed operational decisions.
  • Healthcare operations fluency: understanding of intake, scheduling, caseloads, and SLAs.
  • Business impact orientation: ability to frame work by business outcomes and impact.
  • Advanced SQL & Snowflake: proficient in writing complex queries for cloud data warehouses.
  • BI & dashboarding: experience with interactive dashboards; Hex preferred; Looker/Tableau/Metabase valuable.
  • Data wrangling expertise: comfortable with messy real-world data, nested JSON, unstructured datasets.
  • AI fluency: ability to use AI to accelerate analysis while validating outputs.
  • Analytical mindset and strong communication: explain data concepts to operators, product managers, and executives.
  • Bias toward action: ability to navigate ambiguity and shift priorities; shipping timely insights over perfection.
