About the role
Neko Health is seeking a Global Security Lead to own the physical security of all clinics and offices across markets. This build role will establish global standards, KPIs, and processes for opening new clinics securely, integrating with privacy and information security, and scaling security operations as the company grows internationally.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day security management across all clinics and offices, ensuring a safe and secure environment for members and staff.
- Define and implement a global security operating model, including what is centralized vs. regional, and the hiring plan to achieve it.
- Lead incident management, business continuity, preventative security, and post-incident reviews.
- Develop and implement security standards (access control, CCTV, guarding, visitor management, incident reporting) with local variations per market.
- Write security requirements into clinic plans in collaboration with construction and real estate, and ensure handover quality.
- Build and maintain relationships with local police and authorities in each market.
- Manage security vendors, guarding contracts, and budgets across regions with defined SLAs.
- Oversee global physical security management system and adapt locally for each market.
- Establish risk baselines for each open clinic/office with clear priorities and owners.
- Coordinate security with Information Security and Privacy to protect patient data.
- Develop a security operating model detailing central vs regional responsibilities and a scalable hiring plan.
- Implement a clear incident/escalation process, coverage for out-of-hours, and drills for crisis response.
- Provide ongoing reporting to the COO on incidents, near misses, costs per site, and open risks.
- Select and implement systems to manage security globally.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in physical security, including at least 5 years leading security across multiple markets.
- Experience setting up security for new sites from design through opening.
- Experience managing security vendors, guarding contracts, and budgets across several regions.
- Led incident and crisis response, including investigations and post-incident reviews.
- Calm under pressure and trusted with sensitive information.
- Able to travel regularly between markets.
- Comfortable working with senior leaders and with construction, real estate, and operations teams.
