About the role

Internship in NVIDIA’s Aerial PHY team focusing on core wireless technology for 5G/6G, with emphasis on CUDA/GPU programming, systems software, and AI for telecom. Summer 2027 on-site in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cutting-edge end-to-end reference system stack for 5G/6G baseband.
  • Build and simulate sophisticated algorithms for 5G/6G PHY layer in Matlab/Python.
  • Implement and optimize PHY features in C/C++/CUDA on a GPU platform based on 5G/6G spec.
  • Support system integration, performance testing, system demonstration and lab trials for end-to-end system.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing PhD or MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related.
  • Strong background in the classic and AI/ML based algorithms for communication signal processing in wireless systems.
  • Good understanding of the balance between algorithm performance and implementation cost.
  • Programming skills in Matlab/Python and C/C++.
