About the role
Senior algorithm engineer/architect for Autonomous Vehicles focusing on online mapping to build real-time 3D environment models for self-driving cars, with emphasis on sensor fusion, multi-view geometry, and embedded real-time software.
Responsibilities
- Generate real-time 3D world model utilized by planning, incorporating a variety of inputs from sensors and external sources.
- Enable HD mapless driving in complex urban scenarios by creating enriched BEV models of the world.
- Design and integrate algorithmic solutions into the core of NVIDIA AV.
- Write safe embedded software code to run in real-time systems.
- Develop highly efficient product code in C++ and leverage GPGPU programming (CUDA).
- Produce code and designs following automotive quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of experience.
- Software industry experience.
- Strong C++ development skills.
- Passion for robotics and autonomous vehicles.
- Drive to learn new things and tackle meaningful problems.
- Outstanding communication and cross-team collaboration.
- Independent and analytical software engineering skills.
- Software development on embedded or automotive platforms.
