About the role

Software engineer role within Google's Safe Coding Team, contributing to secure coding initiatives and integrating security solutions across Google's software supply chain, with a focus on APAC expansion and establishing the Singapore hub.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional software engineering. Dive into the codebase, build robust solutions, and be a foundational contributor.
  • Partner closely with technical leads, product managers, and technical program managers to execute on the team's goal and bring our Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy to life.
  • Stay on the rapidly developing agentic threat landscape and boldly embrace the dynamically changing AI environment. Move fast, write exceptional code, and think outside the box to engineer new solutions to old problems.
  • Collaborate with partner teams in Google's Software Supply Chain Integrity program and engineering stakeholders to seamlessly integrate our security solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
