About the role

This posting is for a new vacancy on Google's Security team, focused on protecting the Ads ecosystem by identifying and mitigating adversarial threats and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe operating environment for users and advertisers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate at the cutting edge of this defense, build innovative solutions that protect the Ads ecosystem from ever-changing attacks by decoding adversarial TTPs.
  • Protect billions of users, offering ample opportunities for growth and collaborate with cross-functional and cross-product teams like Ads Quality, Trust and Safety, GBO, YouTube, and Google Play.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related security field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in security engineering, threat intelligence, trust and safety, or a related abuse-fighting field.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Java.
  • Experience working with data analysis, SQL, and investigating datasets to uncover patterns or anomalies.

Skills

Required:Programming (Python, Go, C++, Java)Data analysis and SQLThreat intelligence / security engineering
Nice to have:Adversarial TTPs and MITRE ATT&CKCommunication to non-technical stakeholders
