About the role

Technical bridge between Google Cloud Security technologies and customers, partnering with Sales to drive adoption of Google Cloud Security solutions and translating cybersecurity concepts into business outcomes for technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical advisor, partnering with Sales to build and execute account strategies that win trust and drive adoption of Google Cloud Security solutions.
  • Design creative, scalable, and resilient security architectures that map directly to customers’ specific business goals and operational challenges.
  • Lead technical validations, including Proofs of Concept (PoC) and technical deep-dives, proactively identify and remove roadblocks to ensure project success.
  • Serve as an expert storyteller who can translate complex cybersecurity concepts into compelling, practical business outcomes for both technical practitioners and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with product development stakeholders to refine product capabilities, contributing technical insights that optimize performance and market relevance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a technical environment, including 5 years in a customer-facing technical pre-sales or solutions architecture role
  • 8 years of experience with modern SOC stack (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, NDR, EDR, UEBA and Threat Intelligence).
  • Experience in gathering business requirements, facilitating whiteboarding sessions, and delivering technical presentations to stakeholders.
