About the role

Manager of the Google Forge Solutions Architect team leading a multidisciplinary group to co-design and build production-scale MVPs directly within customer environments, unblocking deployments and driving production-grade outcomes across data analytics, security, software engineering, and AI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Solution Architects and Engineers. Drive team culture, talent strategy, and skills development to deliver MVPs and accelerate the customer path to production.
  • Serve as the technical lead to establish coding standards and architectural best practices that elevate engineering quality across the team.
  • Partner with sales and technical leadership to scope high-value opportunities and deploy specialized cross-functional squads to key customer engagements.
  • Lead recruitment for the engineering organization, evaluating candidates across software engineering, system design, AI, and data to build an exceptional technical team.
  • Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering teams to unblock field deployments, translate customer insights into product roadmaps, and build internal tools that drive organizational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience in software engineering management, forward-deployed engineering, or multidisciplinary technical solution teams in a cloud environment.
  • Experience in building generative AI solutions, multi-agent workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
  • Experience in managing discovery, design, and implementation of production-grade cloud solutions.
  • Experience in people management.
