About the role

Lead a busy metro as a Technical Lead in a strategic L5 Manager role within Google's Network Delivery Implementation organization, driving deployment of large-scale networking solutions, ensuring operational safety, and delivering continuous improvement in processes, performance, and cost across the assigned North American region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your team in identifying and managing interdependencies across various drive projects.
  • Oversee and direct the handling of complex change request escalations.
  • Provide expert technical leadership and guidance, leveraging a deep understanding of network architecture.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, while fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and accountability, while supporting career growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within NDI processes, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and cost reduction in network delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in network operations, including executing network diagnostics and working with fiber optics infrastructure.
  • Experience in people management and project management, and experience leading technical teams.
