About the role

Technical Solutions Consultant responsible for the technical relationship with automotive partners, leading cross-functional teams to leverage Google Maps and Automotive SDK across automotive domains, and driving technical execution and business operations of Google's automotive partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead automotive partners as they integrate Google Maps and Automotive SDK across complex domains including Automotive OS platforms, ADAS components, and in-vehicle infotainment.
  • Manage the automotive partner relationship and be responsible for driving issue resolutions including bugs, missing functionality, and feature requests.
  • Represent the requirements, constraints, and roadmap of automotive partners to inform product development.
  • Support the Geo Auto Forward Deployed Engineering team as a subject matter expert.
  • Work closely with teams across the Geo Auto, Geo Developer, and Android organizations to ensure Google provides a uniform and complete automotive solution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • 3 years of experience with automotive systems.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Experience working with clients from the automotive sector or similar.
