About the role

Product Manager role focusing on Wallet on wearables and Access Control, guiding products from conception to launch and coordinating across dedicated engineering teams to digitize physical credentials and expand Wallet across wearables and access ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with dedicated Wearables engineers to innovate across Wallet on smartwatches and fitness trackers.
  • Lead product initiatives to make tapping from the wrist faster and more delightful than tapping via phone, leverage AI to make the Wallet on wearables experience more intuitive.
  • Drive the expansion of Google Wallet across the wearables ecosystem to new users and devices.
  • Focus on digitizing physical security credentials to enable access across applications like corporate badges, campus IDs, residential real estate, and hotel keys on both phone and wearable devices.
  • Help modernize and scale our access infrastructure, innovate user onboarding, and expand usage of open industry standards for physical access like Aliro.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 1 year of experience as a product manager for consumer hardware or wearables.
