About the role
Lead sourcing and supplier relationship management for custom silicon, managing capacity, pricing, contracts, and deliverables to support Google’s product development and manufacturing milestones.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement long-term strategic sourcing plans for custom silicon encompassing market analysis, risk assessment, supplier identification and qualification, and technology roadmapping to ensure a resilient and cost-effective supply base that meets Google's evolving needs.
- Lead negotiations with key suppliers, developing and managing complex contractual agreements to optimize value, mitigate risk, and ensure favorable commercial terms that align with Google's business objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for strategic suppliers, proactively managing supplier performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering strong, collaborative relationships to ensure consistent quality, on-time delivery, and proactive problem resolution.
- Manage end-to-end supplier deliverables advocated by business unit partners. Drive operational improvements to enhance demand fulfillment, capacity, pricing, and alternate sourcing programs for business continuity.
- Oversee voice of the supplier initiatives and strengthen Google's engagement across the supply base.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in SoC or leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain management, and leadership roles.
- Experience with foundry and OSAT ecosystems.
- Experience collaborating with semiconductor foundries.
