About the role
Technical Program Manager role focused on the Google Geo team, leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects, driving incident management, risk mitigation, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to address abuse attacks and system vulnerabilities within Maps-related products and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Drive forensic root cause analysis of abuse attacks and Design processes to optimize the impact of incident investigations.
- Produce reports and communications to enable partner teams to develop mitigation plans.
- Drive risk mitigation programs for significant events (elections, social unrest etc).
- Partner with engineering teams to develop subject matter expertise about system vulnerabilities.
- Act as an Incident Manager to contain abuse attacks/unplanned events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
