About the role

Software engineer position focused on building the chat experience in Cloud Console and enabling GenAI intelligence through platform integrations for Gemini Cloud Assist. Involves leading frontend architecture, collaborating with product/design/backend teams, and mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable frontend architectures. Advocate best practices and coding standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend) to understand requirements, align on priorities, and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Stay ahead of the latest frontend technologies and trends. Identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance the user experience and improve team efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize frontend performance to ensure a fast and responsive user experience.
  • Mentor and guide junior UI developers, ensure code quality and alignment with best practices. Provide architectural guidance and leadership on front-end design decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience in developing scalable web applications using Angular.
  • 3 years of experience coding in Java.
