About the role

Product Manager role responsible for guiding Play Store Search from conception to launch, collaborating across cross-functional teams, and using data to drive strategy and engagement within Google Play.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional Play teams to define a compelling product strategy and roadmap for Play Search.
  • Drive the execution of the roadmap, managing cross-team dependencies, engineering work, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with core Play teams to understand their business needs and priorities, and craft innovative solutions to support their broader plans.
  • Analyze data from various sources to make informed decisions balancing user needs, cost, engineering complexity, and other critical factors.
  • Understand user behavior deeply through data analysis, insights, and UXR, exploring opportunities to enhance engagement and drive business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
