About the role

Lead cross-functional teams to drive high-bandwidth memory (HBM), Custom HBM and server memory technologies; develop and execute commodity strategies, manage supplier relationships, and optimize total cost of ownership for Google’s data center memory infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive high-bandwidth memory (HBM), Custom HBM and server memory technologies at key memory suppliers.
  • Maintain expertise regarding the integration aspects of HBM with AI/ML accelerator SoCs provided by ASIC houses/OSATs.
  • Understand semiconductor structures and be conversant with developing models and develop and execute sourcing and pricing strategies for high-bandwidth and server memory.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance in technology alignment, cost, quality, and delivery, discuss agreements, and implement supply chain improvements.
  • Address material management, shortages, and Clear to Build (CTB) activities, acting as the escalation point between internal teams and Memory suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in commodity management or supply chain management in the data center/industry.
  • Experience in memory commodity management such as HBM, Memory DDR5, or Server DIMM.
  • Experience in agreement and supplier development.
