About the role

Software engineer role focused on pre-silicon and post-silicon validation for Google Tensor multimedia subsystems on embedded platforms, with responsibilities spanning driver/framework development, hardware bring-up, and cross-IP workloads within the Silicon Validation team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and implement pre-silicon and post-silicon validation drivers and streaming frameworks for Google Tensor multimedia subsystems and cross-IP concurrency workloads.
  • Bring up and validate standalone IP and concurrent multi-IP pipelines across emulation (ZeBu), FPGA, and silicon milestones.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain automated test infrastructure, stress/concurrency benchmarks, and pre-/post-silicon CI regression suites.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to root-cause bugs and harden Hardware Programming Guides (HPGs).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with low level systems programming languages (e.g., C or C++) for embedded systems or SoC platforms.
  • Experience with bare metal, Kernel level device driver development and hardware bringup.
