About the role

Technical Program Manager role focused on leading cross-functional projects to implement Applied AI solutions and improve SmartReview processes within Google’s Trust and Safety workspace, with exposure to graphic or upsetting content and a mandate to build scalable, auditable processes for content moderation and labeling.

Responsibilities

  • Establish required program structures/projects, manage cross-functional launch timelines and measure progress of the annual OKRs.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product, data science, and Trust and Safety central teams to implement Applied AI solutions to address.
  • Establish/improve/automate Smartreview processes such as Intake, Triage, backlog processes and run program sprints.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and milestones clearly to cross-functional and executive leadership. Develop and launch project management best practices and measure adoption across the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
