About the role

Fixed-term Learning Designer role within Google's People Development (PeopleDev) team, focusing on learning design strategy and end-to-end learning solutions across multiple products, with emphasis on user-centric, personalized learning and applying AI tools to optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support learning design strategy across multiple products, collaborating with teammates and partners across PeopleDev and POp Products.
  • Build end-to-end learning solutions or programs that align to user needs and drive high impact to the business.
  • Develop clear learning design roadmaps to build user-centric, personalized learning solutions.
  • Leverage learning design practices to deliver new or continuously improved products relevant to current and emergent user needs.
  • Anticipate instructional design trends to build compelling products and apply AI tools to optimize workflows or create personalized learning experiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience designing and developing learning solutions for various formats and audiences.
  • 4 years of experience as an instructor, in curriculum development, or as a professional educator (such as K12).
  • Experience with instructional design principles and processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and business leadership stakeholders.
