About the role

Sustaining Operations Program Manager role located in Hanoi, Vietnam within Google’s Devices & Services. Focuses on leading cross-functional programs to drive production ramp, manufacturing readiness, and ongoing operational improvements with OEM/ODM partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp and product transitions.
  • Drive manufacturing operational readiness in the factory, leveraging partner resources as well as ongoing efficiency and improvement across factories.
  • Anticipate production and operational risk, communicate/partner with OEMs to manage line bring-ups, qualification, material availability, and quality issues.
  • Lead regular meetings to communicate plans with cross-functional operations and demand planning. Adapt plans based on changing customer requirements.
  • Work with OEM partners to ensure performance goals for Quality, Turn Around Time (TAT), and Throughput (I/O/S) are met or exceeded.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working in electronics/computer consumer hardware.
  • Experience with manufacturing/operations in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) management and supply chain management.
