About the role
Senior Datacenter Engineer responsible for data center physical design, system architecture, and collaboration with facilities teams to optimize efficiency, compliance, and reliability of Google data centers.
Responsibilities
- Define data center system-level, product architecture, and research and development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.
- Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
- Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
- Experience in mechanical infrastructure.
