About the role

The Google Southeast Asia Large Customer Sales (LCS) team helps leading brands scale digital revenue in an AI-first commerce landscape, delivering measurable results across the full marketing funnel with advertising solutions. The Commerce Specialist serves as the dedicated commercial and subject matter expert for online commerce and Commerce Media Networks (CMN) in Southeast Asia, partnering with brand advertisers, e-retailers, and network operators to accelerate adoption of advanced commerce ad tech and data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial strategies across Commerce Media Networks, Search, Demand Generation, and Performance Max to achieve client GMV, ROAS, and acquisition goals across Southeast Asia.
  • Partner with top digital retailers and marketplaces to architect, scale, and generate business off-site commerce media solutions using Google advertising infrastructure and audience signals.
  • Accelerate adoption of Google AI commerce tools and guide advertisers on advanced bidding, first-party data onboarding, and full-funnel campaign structures.
  • Develop joint business plans, playbooks, and pitch frameworks to upskill LCS account teams and agencies on commerce business generation and performance scaling.
  • Serve as regional subject matter expert (SME) for digital retail media, synthesizing SEA market trends to inform and influence global product roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in retail media networks (RMN/CMN), digital commerce advertising, video commerce or performance marketing within an e-commerce platform or tech ecosystem.
  • Experience working with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands, online marketplaces, or pure-play e-commerce merchants on digital media planning.
