About the role

Senior Technical Leader role at Google Cloud Security SecOps Data Platform, focusing on evolving a fully autonomous agentic SOC data platform, leading architecture decisions, prototyping, scale and reliability efforts, and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of data platform building blocks to be consumed by AI SOC agents.
  • Drive rapid prototyping and experimentation on various architectural options for the next gen data platform.
  • Identify and implement architecture improvements that make the platform simpler, more robust, and more scalable to unleash the full potential of customers’ data.
  • Drive scale and reliability efforts of SecOps data platform; leverage SIEM expertise to understand customer pain points, propose solutions, build and deliver projects, and incorporate feedback from product/customers.
  • Mentor and develop other team members. Write documentation, conduct code reviews, and share knowledge with other engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, with focus on building scalable distributed systems, data pipelines, real time streaming and batch processing systems.
  • 8 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++ or Python.
  • 2 years of experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
