About the role

UX Programs & Operations drives projects by increasing communication, streamlining the UX design process, and fostering a culture of user-centered development. You will join a multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to create industry-leading products based on user insights. The role combines project management with a passion for user experience to improve the design of products used by billions, including Google Pay and related payments services.

Responsibilities

  • Be prepared to discuss your knowledge and use of AI tools during the hiring process, AI fluency is an expectation in this role.
  • Develop plans to assess continuous improvement opportunities for UX programs and processes by collecting and analyzing data for insights.
  • Define metrics that drive a culture of user-centered development, establish baselines, and track UX impact based on program needs.
  • Scale, prioritize, and independently execute project plans end-to-end to optimize resourcing, time, and funding investments.
  • Drive operational excellence and manage sprint planning through strong cross-functional collaboration with UX, Engineering, and program stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of program management experience within design or UX organizations.
  • Experience with User Research, or Research focused tools and user centered methodologies.
