About the role

Google Manufacturing Operations role focused on sustaining technical programs for electronic product manufacturing machinery, ensuring production processes meet standards, mitigating risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers to improve yield and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Support in sustaining the technical program of electronic product manufacturing machinery system to ensure the production process is operated according to standards and mitigates risks.
  • Identify and support superiors to ensure ongoing technical risks are identified; implement risk mitigation or resolution plans under the direction of superiors or the request of clients/partners.
  • Support to solve technical issues operations side for line layout, fixed equipment, and setting line qualifications for a ramp for the production process.
  • Support to solve technical issues to achieve and sustain product yield, quality performance at the Contract Manufacturers (CM) site, mass production yield, and performance updates.
  • Liaise and support CMs to strengthen manufacturing process controls to meet KPIs and targets, and ensure continuous improvements; provide feedback and discussion with cross-functional teams/ superiors regarding the practical issues of technology and qualification.

Qualifications

  • Graduated in engineering, technology, science or other fields, with a training period of at least 1 year.
  • Experience as a technical program manager in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
