About the role

Senior Financial Analyst supporting Google's Technical Infrastructure (TI) Networking team, focusing on financial modeling, business case reviews, and partnering with engineering and business leaders to drive investment decisions and cost efficiencies for global network scaling.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business to analyze new technology roadmap and develop financial models for business case reviews to drive investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with the business to identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and provide controllership to guarantee successful execution of programs, ensuring identified value leads to value capture.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to identify and drive efficiencies and cost savings, including monitoring progress to plan.
  • Benchmark network costs against industry peers, monitor technology transition costs, and provide financial analysis updates on technology roadmap.
  • Leverage AI to monitor key metrics and proactively help business understand trends, opportunities, and challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
  • Experience with financial modeling.
