About the role

GTM Systems Lead at Granola to design, build, and run the systems the Sales, CS, and leadership rely on. Own the technology behind Granola’s commercial team, evolve the GTM stack, and ensure reliable data flow across Attio and the broader toolset as the team scales.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve the GTM stack. Decide how our Sales and CS systems should fit together, what to build versus buy, and what to prioritise as we grow.
  • Own the technical architecture of our CRM, Attio. Shape its data model, objects, workflows and integrations. Hands-on configuration, particularly early on, with broader admin not being sole focus.
  • Build and maintain integrations. Ensure data flows reliably across Attio and Apollo, Cal.com, Tally and Polytomic, and into data systems used by the wider business.
  • Own the wider toolset. Assess new tools and vendors, improve or replace what isn’t working, and ensure the stack is useful, reliable and cost-conscious.
  • Find opportunities for automation and AI. Identify work that could be made easier for Sales and CS, and build or collaborate on solutions where they fit the priorities of the stack.
  • Keep systems dependable. Troubleshoot problems, establish governance and documentation, and partner with IT on access and security.
  • Understand how teams work. Get close to Sales and CS workflows so the systems you build solve real problems, not just technical ones.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing, building and owning systems used by a growing commercial team. Hands-on experience matters more than a specific number of years or a specific CRM.
  • Sound judgement about system architecture, priorities and build-versus-buy decisions, with ability to explain to non-technical colleagues.
  • Technical depth beyond administering tools: built integrations; comfortable working with APIs, webhooks and code. Experience with SQL, Python or JavaScript is useful.
  • Understanding of CRM data models, routing, enrichment and operational work to keep data flowing reliably.
  • Willingness to get into the weeds; capable of implementing oneself while also shaping long-term stack development.
  • Curiosity about AI-powered GTM workflows; experience building them is a plus.
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach; able to work with Sales, CS and Data, challenge assumptions constructively, and ship usable solutions.
  • Open to not having used Attio or every tool in the stack; emphasis on ability to apply system-thinking to Granola.
