About the role

Coordination of training activities across designated Amazon SSD site locations, ensuring high-quality delivery of onboarding and safety trainings, monitoring progress, and driving ongoing skills development. Role requires independent execution across multiple sites with potential travel within the region and shift-based schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that training programs (onboarding, safety training) are delivered with high quality and quality is maintained
  • Coordinate training sessions based on site/region needs and prepare for new hires
  • Monitor performance and support retraining opportunities
  • Assess and track effectiveness of training programs
  • Ensure compliance of training programs with standard operating procedures and monitor adherence
  • Facilitate ongoing skills development (skills classes, cross-training)
  • Assess individual and group development needs
  • Understand workflows and daily production targets
  • Solve problems, respond promptly and productively, and implement appropriate procedures as a resource for issues
  • Prioritize multiple tasks
  • Shift-based work including night shifts
  • Possibility of regional travel or transfers to support other sites

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in people development/training or related field
  • Elementary Excel skills (arithmetic, SUM, PivotTables for analysis)
  • Business-level Japanese language ability
