About the role

Build Amazon's middle mile long-term network strategy for AMXL, shaping transportation cost, carrier mix, and capacity planning across a 1-5 year horizon for a fast-growing delivery network. Collaborates with Retail, Finance, Operations, and Science to influence decisions affecting large item deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Support middle mile network strategy and execution planning for the 1-5 year horizon
  • Configure and analyze optimization models to assess network scenarios and produce strategy recommendations
  • Coordinate planning cycle inputs across Retail, Finance, Operations, and Science teams
  • Analyze transportation cost drivers including carrier mix, attainment, and sort center connectivity
  • Build and maintain full year plans for middle mile operations across US and Canada
  • Support development of strategic planning documents for leadership review
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost-to-serve and improve network efficiency

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
