About the role

Senior Manager, Operations to lead a fulfillment center function, driving safety, people development, and operational performance across a large and dynamic workforce. Owns strategy and execution for their area, translates data into action, and builds systems and talent pipelines to deliver for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of safety, quality, and operational performance for your function, setting clear expectations and holding your leadership team accountable for results across shifts and departments.
  • Build and develop a strong bench of leaders through continuous coaching, actionable feedback, and targeted development plans that accelerate career growth for your team.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and operational data to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and implement scalable solutions that drive sustained improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with partners in finance, human resources, safety, engineering, and technology to plan and execute strategic initiatives that support site and network goals.
  • Design and implement mechanisms that balance immediate operational needs with longer-term process improvements, ensuring your team is prepared for peak volume and changing business demands.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in significant team leadership from a managerial position in the transportation delivery industry, or a similar logistics environment
  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
