About the role

Lead role in AWS Cloud Innovation Centers to drive scalable impact with Pitt AI CIC and broader CIC network. Responsible for building a robust pipeline of technical prototyping engagements, coordinating Executive Innovation Visits, managing stakeholders across academia, public sector, and AWS partners, and supporting growth of the CIC/Labs program with a highly entrepreneurial approach.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, support, and ensure completion of an active and evolving pipeline of scalable technical prototyping engagements.
  • Take full ownership of the Executive Innovation Visit program, driving impact and efficacy for higher education executives in accelerating their cloud and AI journey.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships, including with the University of Pittsburgh, AWS, public sector customers, and student workers.
  • Track, monitor, and report on program outcomes against established goal targets.
  • Additional duties as assigned, including potential support for the growing network of AWS-powered Cloud Innovation Centers and Labs.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional or military experience
  • 3+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 3+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
