About the role

Finance Manager to lead FP&A for NA Operations Fixed, Capex, Analytics & Planning, focusing on Capacity/Initiatives investments. Partners with business and finance leadership to drive planning, forecasting, automation, and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced Amazon operations environment.

Responsibilities

  • - Leading the planning cycles for a multi-billion dollar business.
  • - Deep-diving variances vs. plan to understand changes and uncover opportunities for efficiency improvement.
  • - Leading cross-functional projects involving finance, engineering and tech teams.
  • - Form strategic plans to improve processes, tools, and analytics. This involves ownership of project ideation, pilot implementation, stakeholder management, and ultimately expansion
  • - Leverage Operations metrics to identify cost out opportunities by linking up operations and financials
  • - Identifies risks, evaluates impact, proposes changes, and implements improvements to remediate gaps
  • - Drive automation and process improvement across planning, top-down forecasting and goal management processes.

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
