About the role

Flight Monitor role on the Amazon Prime Air team responsible for real-time monitoring of drone flights to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing state-of-the-art monitoring systems.
  • Identify and respond to deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters.
  • Ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies; provide feedback to support continuous operational improvement.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Strong attention to safety and ability to follow detailed procedures
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
