About the role

Entry-level front-line leadership role in Amazon Operations focused on safety, productivity, and continuous process improvements within SSD (Subsameday) delivery operations. Leads a diverse team, drives quality and customer service, and collaborates with other managers and engineers to meet business objectives on a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
  • Analyze and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity across all shifts
  • Support and lead a team and handle administrative work while building and supporting a strong team culture
  • Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service
  • Promote best practice and continuous process improvements across the team in areas like health and safety and productivity
  • Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes
  • You’ll work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites, focusing on safety, process efficiency, routine team management, daily operational tasks, escalations, process improvement, and contingency planning
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets
  • Discuss operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Work a rotating, flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays. Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • 1+ years of leadership experience in a retail, distribution or similar environment
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish
