About the role
Content Security Specialist based in Culver City, CA, protecting content, IP, and brand; works with internal teams and external content creators across the content production lifecycle, including security policies, training, screenings, incident response, program management, and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies, standard operating procedures, and security awareness training for content security.
- Screen events, manage leak and incident response, and ensure security across the content production lifecycle.
- Coordinate program management tasks: track initiatives and milestones, coordinate with Studios, Marketing, and production partners, and report progress to leadership.
- Contribute to program-level strategy addressing emerging threats and industry trends.
- Facilitate training for film crews, assess facilities, audit vendors, and prepare screenings and embargo readiness for titles near release.
- Build scalable SOPs and mechanisms to scale the content security program.
Qualifications
- Experience handling confidential information or in film development (story analysis/editorial roles).
- Experience in audits related to business processes, risk mitigation, program compliance, or internal audits.
- Experience with episodic and film workflows.
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or solving complex problems.
- Experience in securing pre-release screenings involving DCPs, KDMs, and non-DCI compliant devices.
